Turtle

Once in a while 
I hide in my shell
hear you knocking
trying to get in with force
you make loud noises and
scare me away
I am a turtle
so be calm and qiuet
maybe I'll come out
If you take time to
get to know me I'll let
you in
I may be tough to get
through to
but you'll soon find
that it will be worth it
because the heart of me
is softer than you think
